1. In muscles, BCAA serves as an important energy during periods of exercise and stress, as for the synthesis of other amino acids and proteins.

The initial research mainly focused on its impact on the anabolic metabolism of branched chain amino acids, especially metabolic diseases, and its theoretical potential in preventing and treating liver failure and encephalopathy. As a result, branched-chain amino acids have been promoted as a beneficial supplement for patients with this disease. However, some ambiguous clinical studies have generated interest in the general loss of branched-chain amino acids as nutritional supplements.

3. The metabolism of branched chain amino acid glutamine has a significant impact. Glutamine is considered an important nutrient for many rapidly dividing cells in the body, especially in the gut and immune system.
